Elmer Hawkes is a Connecticut-born songwriter, photographer and educator. His musical performances have ranged from Boston's Hatch Shell to Walpole Prison. He has released five vinyl albums of original songs and two CD's, "The Songs Of Elmer Hawkes" performed by various artists and "The Hunchback Of Notre Dame- a stage musical", distributed internationally by Original Cast Records. He is the founder of Worlds Together, an educational DVD series pertaining to Ethiopia, Tibet and East Africa. He has traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia, East Africa, Polynesia and South America. He is presently living (peacefully) in Cambridge, Massachusetts working on additional DVD's that explore the globe.
